logo design

Designing a logo starts with finding the right tone.

Every creative project carries its own energy, whether it leans raw and loud or subtle and restrained, and the mark needs to reflect that without overthinking it. I spend time feeling out the character first, then let type, form, and texture fall into place around it. The best logos feel inevitable, like they always existed, just waiting to be uncovered.

The process is iterative and hands-on. I sketch, simplify, adjust scale, and test how the mark sits in different environments, from a record sleeve to a screen header or a worn-in tote. Sometimes the design wants a little grit, sometimes it needs clean precision, although either way it has to carry presence without shouting. In the end, the mark should feel honest, flexible, and unmistakably connected to the world it comes from.
